Drupal 4.7.x

For some reasons I am taking website content backup, after some time I am putting back the same content on to the site, that time I am getting some special characters (Copyright © 2007), why is it so?

Is there any way or a module to introduce custom node markers to a node like the sticky attribute or the promote-to-frontpage attribute?
My idea is to mark some nodes as my 'top nodes' and try to filter them via views.

Alternatively, a marker like this could be possibly introduced by using taxonomy terms. Is there a way to deny/allow access to special taxonomy vocabularies based on user roles?

Any idea or hint very welcome.

My site has been live for 18 months on 4.7

In the last week, something has happened to the login functionality:

I'm an administrator of my site.
I login as per usual.
If I click on any menu option that requires me to be logged in, I get:

Apologies
Restricted access

Sorry, only registered members permission to access this page.

How do you get rid of this:

in the body form? It's seems to put in everywhere.

I am using nice menus in my site. And, now i need to disable link from some of the menu items as they have child menus. Can this be done?
