Drupal 4.5.x or older

We mvoed to a new server, but can't seem to get the database working. We'll pay $30 to whoever can get it functioning. Pretty sure it's simply fix

I have two different Drupal sites with the search field as a block that visitors can use.

I had it index the site but when I search for terms that are in the blog it says "your search yielded no results"

Can anyone tell me how this is done? Im currently using the Garland theme which I quite like and im not able to find where to change the header. Ive gone through all the php files and nothing stands out. I would simply like to replace it with my own text.

I had created a site with drupal years ago, then 4.5.1 ..
Now I want to upgrade it to newer version.

Tell me which one is suitable.
should go for 4.7.x or for 5.x ?

Also, when I try to upgrade directly to 5.x .. whole site was messed even on following instruction.

So is it true that I can't upgrade directly to 5.x, rather I need to do incremental upgrade ?

Has anyone else spotted this?? e.g If I have a multiple hierarchy taxonomy below:

Content Type
-Review
-- Article
--- Current
-- Magazine
-News
-Blog

etc...

And I select Review > Article > Current for every node I create then sometimes it will display Review, Article, Current and others it displays Article, Current, Review etc...

Looking at the table the order seems to be dependant on the order the nid and tid relatiionships are inserted into the term_node table.
