Migrating to Drupal forum

I'm attempting to migrate a Groupee forum to a Drupal forum. I haven't been able to find any scripts that anyone else has written to do this, but I'm willing to write one myself (and share, obviously). My question is, what would be the best way to do this? I don't think manually moving records from one db to another would be too safe. Are there API calls for CreateUser, and CreateNewForumPost, and ReplyToForumPost, etc. ?

Thanks,

Setting up a "primary" and "secondary" front page to your site. Useful for sites using Splash or flash front pages

Hi Guys,

The purpose of this thread is to take discussions and support questions away from the handbook, where pages get very cluttered very quickly with a few comments/questions/follow up ideas.

This is a discussion thread for a handbook page snippet for setting up 2 front pages for your site.

As an example, although it's considered bad design policy, you might want offsite visitors to see a full splash page/flash animation on a "primary front page" before reaching your "secondary front page".

Is there any error in database ???

Hi,
I'm brand new, I 've been studing How to develop Drupal, but there some errors I can't solve ...

--------(1)--------
After installing Drupal version 4.5 successful, I've added the module gsitemap-4.7.0.tar.
(I use soft:: appserv-win32-2.4.5. It supports php 4.4.1)
I receive the error like that ::

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function: node_get_types() in c:\appserv\www\drupal\modules\gsitemap\gsitemap.module on line 221"

Searching users in 4.5

I am running 4.5. I need a way for site administrators to search users not only by the username but also by custom fields. I see there is a module for 4.6 but I'd rather not upgrade because I've made a lot of modifications to 4.5. Are there any other solutions for searching users?
