Word Doc to HTML Converters?

Is anyone using any Word doc to HTML converters? I've got about 7500+ I want to convert to book pages! Ironically, something that works in Linux would be ideal as I think scripting would be easier, like in PERL etc..

Since I want to put these into drupal book pages, it would also be ideal to be able to limit the tags used during the conversion process.

Thanks in advance!

I want to have a calendar similar to the one in this site forexfactory.com, is possible to do in drupal?

Drupalize a DB Driven Site

Hello
I am just new in Drupal and liking it very much. I want to convert my site into Drupal. My site is a DB driven site which has near about 10 pages in the front end and an administration panel to add update and delete items to view in the front end.Specially there is one dynamic page which changes its content according to database records. I mean to say that to view each item there is a particular one page.
Now if I convert my site in Drupal how that dynamic page will be operated, if I have to create as many pages as the number of records in Database.

How to convert from a static site to drupal?

I'm currently converting a static site into drupal. This site is a news site so they have an archive of static pages running for 5 years now. Transferring all the pages into drupal would take ages so the site owner asked me to keep the static archive pages as is and just make a link in the new drupal-based site to the archive. How do I install a new drupal system without affecting the archives? Thanks.

From embedded Gallery2 (menalto) to Acidfree (image.module, video.module, views.module)

I have a rather large embedded Gallery2 installation. Don't get me wrong, I love Gallery2, but I am becoming convinced that a native solution would be better for several reasons. Chiefly, to reduce feature bloat, to reduce time spent tweaking external apps to work with Drupal (same reason I chucked CiviCRM), to allow use of Taxonomy, and to allow tighter integration with Drupal and especially the Views module.
