Converting to Drupal

I am currently in the process of moving my WordPress site over to Drupal. I am rebuilding the content pages by hand as a lot of things are going to be different once they move to Drupal, but I'd like to get a script that converts my WordPress comments to Drupal. Is there a script out there that maybe I can specify a post ID from WordPress and a node ID from Drupal and have the comments copied over?

How could I set drupal up to be like trac?

What modules would I use?

Could I administer SVN?

Is there any module that can be used to create a Front Page? I have done this before with WordPress and Mambo but can't seem to do this with Drupal. I basically want one main Front Page that will work like some sort of welcome page. But drupal cuts the message.

Also, I don't want the messages to be published by default on the Front Page, is there any way to disable it site-wide?

Since about 2 years I'm using mambo / joomla. For a new project I want to give drupal a try.
I haven't done any projects with drupal, yet. So I'm a bit lost of all the possibilities.

Is there already a solution in drupal for my problem?

So I've installed Drupal 5.2 onto myserver in a separate folder, and I was wondering what is a way I could convert this site here to be based on drupal, or if that is even possible?

It is basically a picture with an iframe in the middle that displays different html pages. Is there a way to put the drupal content into that frame? Or is drupal not what I'm looking for...I want a system where I can update the content of the website, so I was hoping drupal would do it....

I have enjoyed building sites with Joomla but felt that Drupal's features make it a better fit for creating online communities. This is my third attempt to get something going in Drupal, and I'm determined to stick with it this time. I am finally starting to figure out the whole taxonomy concept, and I've followed the beginner's Drupal guide as well.
