Deprecated - Social software and communities

I have absolutely ZERO programming experience or savvy. Although very
bright, I can't even seem to find a place to even begin with this software. Trying to create the basics of a simple social networking site. Is there a true step-by-step instruction guide as to how to get started? Run with
my domain name, etc? Thanks so much for your help.

This can be developed however you want. (e.g. one person may want to create a community site linked to mobile phones...)

i am new with php.. currently i am working on a project ... i want to know how to bookmark a page using php

I am building a community site, and I wanted to know how to go about the following, my php knowledge is very limited.

I have a Schools list, to choose from in the profile section. I have only managed to get about 30 schools although I know there is more than that for the country I am working with,

how then do I let users add a school, if not available, which automatically gets listed on right the list, alphabetically.

I am using php 5.2 with xp pro sp2 and with IIS5.1

i am used mail() to sent email..its working ok,,can anybody explain me what is does..there is no error ..but i couldnt undersatnd where it send mail and where i can see the message ,subject all in localhost..
