Deprecated - Media and document management

I'm trying to make a block that will limit a certain type pf articles to a block. For example, The reviews block will only list review articles and teh news block will just list news articles. I know this will involve vocabulary and probably php. I've already made the vocabulary needed i just need a way to better organize then all on one page.
I have no php skills what so ever.

If anyone could help me that would be great, thanks a ton! Sorry if this sounds noobish, but well I'm a noob.

Does anyone know how to make a page that acts like the front page? For example I would like to have a page for each presidential candidate, and sticky at the top of the page I would like their bio, then below that, and new stories or news about that candidate would bee added in descending order or post, just like how content gets added to the front page.

I'm thinking about developing a module that would alter the URL returned for multimedia (images mostly) so that the URL returned is something like, http://media.mydomain.com/files/images/user/image1.jpg, instead of the standard http://www.mydomain.com/files/images/user/image1.jpg

Instead of just linking to the Drupal Association page, registering and then going to the donation's page, won't it be nice to have a block or module that can do this from another Drupal site?

I’m working on a multimedia module (yourplayer) for drupal 5.x.x (4.x.x not jet tested 90% chance it will work).

What can Youplayer do ?

Play media
Download media
Upload media category’s ( audio, video, images, other).
File types (mp3 jpg etc…) can be add or delete in the admin panel.

Not sure if I can get away with this, but I am trying to create a house listing with a photo using CCK for the fields and trying to use the standard Image Attach function of the Image Module.

All I really want to do is display the image module generated "preview" and not the "thumbnail".

The problem is that I am not seeing the field for the attached image in the options that contemplate gives me.
