Deprecated - Media and document management

Hi All,

Currently I'm developing a website based on Drupal for my own books oulet. There I have a number of books which is ready to sell and I need to show them as thumbnails (category wise). A breif description and details about the book (such as book title, # of pages, category name, price) are also need to be displayed along with each book in this thumbnail view. I'm not interested in having an online shopping cart at the moment (may be in future), but just to show the books availabl in my store in a nicely arranged manner.

Just new to drupal, and as you´ll see I´m a little bit lost

I´d like to know if it is possible to do that all post (better a new type of story post that I will create)that sends the users of my site they have an image and the text to its right.

If user dont put and image mi drupal would put a "no image".gif

How ??

The tagging of web content is becoming an increasingly important problem. It would be redundant to cite the importance of tagging as reams have been produced on this subject. Although formal mechanism such as RDF exist to address the meta-data aspects of resources, the web2.0 landscape is filled with ad-hoc tagging schemes as is evidenced by popular cites such as del.icio.us, youtube.com, etc.

Drupal currently has such tagging and taxonomy functionality and work efforts are underway that are adding to this front. The current approaches are focused on making the tagging experience cleaner and making sure the tag precision is higher.

Hi all, I will try to describe what I'm trying to do in as much detail as possible. I'm relatively new to Drupal, but not so much to CMSs in general. Basically, I need two things:
1.) All of my users need to have customizable profile fields.
For example, I know that you can do this really easily using the profile module that comes w/ Drupal. However, the problem is the custom fields I create end up grouped/categorized differently. I need all the form information with the customized fields that I created to be listed on the profile edit page /user/2/edit... without having to click the link for the group at the top. How do I move that form onto the profile page? Maybe this is trivial, or maybe someone could point me to some good documentation. I've looked at the nodeprofile and that basically seems like what I want to do, but with that all set up, if a user is logged in & looking at his profile page, and clicks edit...it still takes you to the profile module and not the nodeprofile edit page? How do i link the two up?

2.) I need the users of my site to be able to administer directories/pages only under their url (E.G. /user/2/project1/page1 etc.). How do I add that functionality, and then restrict the user permissions?

I install the audio module, but it jsut can play one file music only, how can I input to the playlist of flash player more song ??
Any one can do it???

I am sure this has been posted before and I apologize ahead of time for that. I am really crunched for time and can't really search around, but in drupal 5.1 is there a tutorial on how to create pages and not stories or forums. When I go to create content, all I get is create story or forum topic and I don't want that. All I want it to create a single page. I know in 4.7 you were given this option, but I don't see it here. If anyone can throw me some info on this or a tutorial I would truely appreicate it.
