Move handbook to it's own site

Looking over the handbook, which the documentation team has done a great job on by the way, I realized there's a need for a handbook specific search. I think at this point, it may even make sense to have the handbook live on it's own subsite so it is searchable and has an inteface dedicated to the handbook. As a whole I really see drupal as three sections, Community (forums), Development (projects, cvs), and Documentation (handbook).

menu view like the navigation menu

Howdie,

how do I create a menu view in a ul li list like in the Navigation (User Menu) Block where the submenus drop down when you click on the main menu link.
I added a div class="menu" but nothing happened. What else do I have to define to get it right?
Thanks for any help

suspicious data?

I've been trying to include a child page to the documentation, but it closes and says it was because of "suspicious data".
There's a lot of code included, but it's all blocked out appropriately (I think!).

Documentation for those whom Drupal attracts...

I found this blog this morning but was most interested in this: ".... it appears to be a platform which attracts the artists and musicians, the progressives, the forward thinking businesses, the world changers -- those whom, in the words of Apple, think different."
My first thought was, Isn't THAT the truth! (at least, based on my observartions)

weblink documentation clarification ...

The "compose tips" documentation for the weblink module says, You may create links to items stored in our weblink registry using a special syntax. The weblink codes will be replaced by a links to visit the real websites. Syntax: [weblink:link_id] or [weblink:http://a.weblink.example.com/].. However, the following code in weblink.module clearly looks up based on node id (nid) instead of link id (lid). In the general case, nid != lid and this is misleading.

Need help with a Web URL validator regexp

I want to write a regexp that validates web links. It's going pretty well so far, but I've identified a couple cases where the regexp fails to see a bad URL. Here's the code:
