Multilingual Documentation

Hello community,

i´m a newbie and had a lot of problems understand the multilingual options that are possible with Drupal.
There is a bit confusion and overlapping with the modules translation and i18n.

For me Multilingual-Support is one of the most important features in Drupal because other cms lack that.

But there is no proper documentation how to use these features. Would it be possible to do a Handbook (or wiki) for it?
I would volunteer to translate it for the german community.

thanks in advance

Stub descriptions for core modules

As modules are added and removed from core, it becomes difficult to determine what modules are now in core and what are just not ready for 4.7 release unless you re-read the entire Drupal documentation.

Would it be difficult to have a stub for each of the core modules in the module section so that all functionality is in one place? That way users can see the module, but it would say something like "Core module -- no need to download, already included in Drupal distribution".

Video pod-casts in other formats please!

I hope it was not intentional to choose for Quick time format. As far as I can tell Quicktime is not available for Linux and by using this format you make life quite difficult for the pure Linux users out there. Would it be possible to make it available in other formats, like mpg, which in my experience is the easiest format for most Linux users?

Drupal code documentation published at Drupal.org.in

http://Drupal.org.in has published Drupal 4.7 code documentation. It uses phpxref version of documentation. Referenced Drupal code is available as part of doc.Doc is searchable for classes, function, variable and constants used in code. It will be valuable resource for Drupal beginner. Experienced developers may take advantage of the doc as reference material for module developments. The doc will be also a good resource for any new php programmer as reference material.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE

Why am I getting this error message, Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE ? Everything looks correct and I've compared it to other scripts with similar setup. I am new to PHP and I would greatly appreciate some assistance on this error.
