Translations

I've tested the new configuration translation system, but I don't understand how I can manage to translate the menu links that I've added.

This is what I've done:
- Installed Drupal 8.1.0-rc1
- Enabled configuration translation
- Add spanish language
- Add 2 links to the main navigation menu: "Link 1" and "Link 2"
- After I go to configuration translation and try to translate the main menu, this path:
admin/structure/menu/manage/main/translate/es/add
- But there I can only translate the Main menu lable and description.

I'm using metatag 7.x-1.7+57-dev and i18n 7.x-1.13+1-dev versions and entity translation module to translate nodes.
Its not showing translations for node tab title, meta description and keywords.

doesn't help as well

I've been trying to translate my site completely to Finnish, but I have not been able to figure out how do I get rid of or translate the word "by" (as in posted by) in the forum topic-list.
It's the very last thing I can't figure how to translate and it's really annoying, I've been wondering about it for over 24hrs now. So any kind of pointer to the right direction would receive massive appreciation.

I have registered for sharing translations. The problem I face: If at "Interface translation settings" (/admin/config/regional/translate/settings) I check "Enable sharing translation modifications with server" the translation is not stored in my website. If checked off, the translation is stored in my website, but not shared.

I want to use my translations on my website and to share them too ...

I use Drupal 7.43 on Debian/Mint with German as default language and the Bartik theme. Now I
intend to translate the site into English and maybe other languages using the "old" pre-D7
Content Translation facility. I want to show the translation switchers within a translation
block but not the language labels in the content areas of pages.
This works fine, except that I also see language labels in the content area of my pages.

Our default language is EN. Some articles are translated in other language, some other not.
