I'm developing my first Drupal site and I've created a page--front.tpl.php for my home page. I've setup my other pages which was relatively easy but it's the home page I'm stuck on. As you can see in the image below there's going to be multiple boxes with these three pieces of content: 1. heading 2. featured image 3. click button with text — all need to be editable wysiwyg style for the admin
I am in the process of trying to have my site highlight the current day available and opened hours. On my main page, I would like to feature our hours. The list starts at Sunday and ends on Saturday. Today is Monday and I would like to know if there is anyway to highlight Monday using PHP. This would be so awesome - and I know it is very detailed - but I would love to just highlight the current day because it just makes the site better.
I have found much to my grief that the website theme for a Drupal website, is not displaying properly after I downloaded a copy of the website with Filezilla (for backup purposes)
At the time I hadn't changed any of the files. I've tried clearing the cache of the website, and nothing happens.
Please help! This is a business site for a client.
Edit
Some users also made some changes with admin privileges 3 hours before this happened, so I'm not really sure who or what is responsible.
First off, please forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong place and asking "newbie" questions. ;) I'm new to Drupal, and do use programmers to do the bulk of the site development, but as they are not available at this moment, I thought I would reach out to the community.
We are a local youth media organization and we want to switch to Drupal. Right now we are hosting on Wordpress. What we do is produce positive youth media stories about our community.
