Theme development

My Name is Tony Disez, I have one Question about Drupal Theme Development. Actually I have a one client who want to build website in Drupal & for the same think i need your expert advice on the same. Client suggest me some websites for reference purpose but i am confuse because all these website was made in PHP & .Net where my client require website in Drupal only.

Anyone know how to find the name of a content type? It's not the machine-readable name is it? I'm trying to make a custom page template for a specific content type and it's not working so I think I'm getting the wrong name

I've used the EVA module to create a field which I've placed in a specific content type. However it doesn't give you the option to add a label. Would anyone know how to add a label?

Sorry if this is obvious but I dont often work in drupal and just cant see an easy way to do this.
What I'm doing is using the ajax link api to load content into a div. I have it working fine for my main menu but I can't work out how to add a class ('ajax-link') to a thumb that is linked to content (a content teaser). I've tried using preprocess_node but to no avail. Any help appreciated.

I'm trying to add a simple link to a certain page on a views template. Problem is all the links I set up direct to that views specified content which isn't what I want. Anyone know any quick tricks?
