Theme development

I am new to drupal and using drupal 7.24.. Recently I saw a website in which there was a menu bar in left sidebar and pics in the right sidebar... when ever i scroll down the page the left menu bar and the right pic also moved along the scroll and when i moved up from downside the menu bar in left side and the pic in the right side bar also moved...

I really liked this feature..Could anyone help me what is this feature called and what module can i use to make this happen

Dear friends:
I am using the bootstrap theme for a base theme ,
I want to add a js file to all the pages,and I write
scripts[] = '/js/unslider.js' in the .info file of my subtheme
but it seems not working
Is it because the bootstrap theme is using CDN so it won't load local js file ? Or I wrote the wrong path of the file?

There are two content types in my website
1. student
2. class

every student must be assigned to class. these content types have the following fields:

student: name(text), id(text),relevant_class(entity_reference)
class: name(text),capacity(integer)

I want to have a view of students that not only displays the complete information of student but also the information of its class as well.

how can I create such a view? is there any way to use Field Format to display these information?

I have a simple request I hope.

I would like to make the content section of the Bartik theme full width.

Would someone kindly tell me is it possible and how to do this.

How is t possible to have a consistent slide show on all pages of my website ?

I am using the business theme.

Hi guys,

I'm using the Internationalisation (i18n) module and have 2 languages for the site. I have enabled the language swap block, but only want to display the inactive language.
How do I go about doing this?
