Theme development

Hi,

I am using educational theme in drupal 7. Suddenly the background color white is missing from my sidebar first block when I have rearranged the blocks. Other blocks are having the white background. I don't know how do get back the background color again. Could anybody help me please?

Probably this question is going to be a simple one but I'm a begginer and have stuck with this for two days... I can't find any .CSS
file that would allow me to theme drupal main menu block. I have zen theme installed. I found some styles for main and secondary menu in misc.css but they apply to this page.tpl.php snippet:

I am trying to convert a template html5 / css into Drupal theme and in this template there is a slideshow (js file) and this code in index.html

first of all, does anybody know if this theme: https://www.drupal.org/sandbox/zetagraph/2423269
works with the current drupal? it says on the page that it works with beta 6 at least.

one needs node / gulp to use the theme, for non specified reasons.
since these dont come with my debian jessie i installed them by hand in my user directory.

I add in my theme.info yml file:

Logo is active in theme settings...
