I am creating a drupal 8 custom theme. I am not using any base theme. However, in the main menu, sub menu items which link to different pages of website, are not coming in browser. If I remove the link from sub menu to root and make it direct child of main menu , then the link gets displayed. How can I work with menus(also sub menus) and add classes to them.
I help manage a website which we run for free on a total non-commercial basis, promoting cycling in the north of England, soon moving into North Wales.
We finance things ourselves and don't want to take adverts, preferring to remain an independent portal for cycling, doing it all in our spare time for free.
However, I'd like us to start looking at a new responsive theme for the site, but our budget is zilch! Any help gratefully appreciated, and you'll get a warm feeling inside, knowing you help fellow altruistic people!
I have a multilingual site with a custom theme and I need to start adding in the other languages. All the translation components seem to be in place, and I was able to set up the menu, but when I try to create a translation of a node, I get "access denied". I've gone through several postings to see if I can find something that solves my problem, but no luck.
I went to look at my content types page trying to solve a problem, and found that I can't see a proper page. I don't know how long ago this happened, as I haven't messed with Content types. In fact, I've done Nothing to backend admin page structure. I can't revert anything, wayyyyyy too much has been done.
Hi, I'm using the latest version of Omega Theme for Drupal 8. I'm trying to build a site that is responsive.
The problem I have is I need to set the background to white for the "content-region" and the "sidebar-first". So I do that on their wrapper div. But for some reason the background is spanning outside the 1400px width of my site. I think that is because the theme has margins (left and right in percent) along with ~97% width. See this image, this is what I have now:
