Drupal awards in 2010!!

We should create a drupal awards next year to award developers work. Lot of them past a big time of their life-time to help Drupal developement.

I think we should really award their work.

Results will depends of the Drupal.org users votes.

Categories: (5 nominations each category).

Best developer

Best contributor

Best module

Best new module

and

Best drupal site

Best new drupal site

Of course, we have to set rules about all this.

And I'm sure we could find more categories.

LinuxDays are aiming at promoting Open Source solutions to businesses and organisations, by introducing the existing solutions, by animating debates, by gathering all the companies that have the best competencies for your Open Source projects.

Conferences at LinuxDays 2009 are distributed between 4 tracks: Education, Public administrations, Open for Business and Grid Computing. Each of these tracks has its own themes. There will also be workshops to continue the talks and ideas started in the conferences.

About CMS and Drupal, there will be two conferences by the Edipresse group, one about the migration of all their newspapers' websites to Drupal ("Drupal for Media : the Edipresse experience"), and one about tuning Drupal for high performance ("High performance Drupal for media sites").

Also, our key note speaker, Michel Rocard, a former French Prime Minister and Deputy at the European Parliament, will give a conference and participate to a debate about legal aspects of using Free Software.
