Tear me a new one, please...

I know, I know, the site has been around for a while, now. Last night I finished some background work and fixed one or another annoyning CSS bug, and it's just become tradition for me, to seek out critique. Mind heading on over to http://www.jluster.org and telling me what sucks? Don't hold back, I really want to have one usable, clean, not fancy but nice lloking, site. And I suck royally at fashion and design. Clothingwise, the choice is black, for websites you're my critics. Thanks.

ichris.ws

This is my personal blog http://ichris.ws

It is PHPTemplate-based, and hopefully works with most recent browsers.

I'd love some thought on the design & colour palette. Thanks all :)

Black Color Site

Hello, I've built this site using PHPTemplate, it's still a work in progress.

Love to hear your thoughts

A completely unfocused Drupal site.

Installing things I don't understand is my primary hobby at the moment. With that in mind, I present my own humble Drupal-based offering:

http://sobrania.homelinux.net

Running on an old Dell PowerEdge 2300, Gentoo, and a lot of wishful thinking.

Design is not my strong suit, but I am rather partial to my layout and colors. I just made the jump to 4.5.1 from 4.4, so I'm still tweaking the CSS, but it's mostly legible...

Artist portfolio sites in progress

Hello,

I'm releasing two sites for review. I've still got a bit of work to do on both, but i would like to get some feedback from the community. Thanks for looking.

http://www.blessedtobesocursed.com Is running civicspace, 0.7

Blessed ended up giving me more trouble then i imagined it would as some of the drupal modules weren't compatible with civicspace. It was written for an artist friend of mine who didn't have much money to do a site, but i wanted to give him a site with an orginal look that he could update him self. I'm planning on upgrading to the latest version of civicspace or moving the site over to 4.5, but the theme was written in the very first version of phptemplate, so its going to take a bit more time then i've had to dedicate to it.

I've been having trouble getting the webform module to work with civicspace, if anyone knows of a simple solution. everything works except the "thanks for using our contact page" seems to misfire.

http://www.fame4art.com running 4.5,

It needs something to tell you the truth, the sidebar, content div layout thing is starting to feel a little ridged, but i can't seem to put my finger on a good solution.

  • Addtionally I'm planning on spicing up the node design, tightening up the spacing, texturing the backgrounds a bit more.
  • I would also like to find a good solution for creating a custom home page (the front page module its still only 4.4). I guess one could just use modrewrite and assign it a flexinode, page or something....
  • I also would like to find a way to animate the flash header based on some varible fed into flash by drupal, if anyone could give me there thoughts on the possiblitys of that.

Thanks for your feedback

Travis

Hello All,

First, a big Thank You to all the people who have worked on Drupal in one way or another. Awesome. When things stabilize with my own sites, I hope to contribute some code myself, especially in the blog module.

I have two Drupal sites running right now. The first one is the developer.* Cooperative Digest:
