After using XOOPS for the past year and using Mambo for another site, I discovered Drupal via the urlgreyhot.com site. I have a few sites, but I decided to pilot Drupal on my personal web site, Nautis Project. My day job is management consulting (IT Strategy and Knowledge Management) - so I work with information architects quite a bit. I'm impressed by Drupal's taxonomy core. This system seems to have been built correctly from the ground up. Some of the most sophisticated content management systems out there (Interwoven, Vignette, Documentum) have still not mastered this idea very well.
I'm in the process of switching over most of my sites to Drupal. I wrote another post recently covering how much I appreciate the developers and documenters. It's a terrific development engine.
I do business and technical writing for work but I write humor for fun. The link below is to my humor writing site. http://www.ramurphy.com
Well.. We were using Geeklog for awhile.. Then I saw the light. Drupal is amazing so far.. And I have barely sunk my teeth into it. Massive respect from TheJoATS...
Announcing http://theme.etmeli.us/, a Drupal theme site. Like a lot of themers, I started by modifying a theme I liked. Though I've got more plans for future themes, I'm kicking it off with three variations of Persian. Once you've installed Persian, you can just drop these into the themes/persian directory to use them. Hope you like them.
I know this site may upset some people, but here it goes. It is a website to gather people’s ideas and concerns to form a real free government. http://RainBowsTrip.com is the spark that is needed to form a free society.
My plan is to gather enough interests worldwide to show government that no country is truly free because the people have no rights to vote on the pressing issues; instead, they are told from elected officials who think they know the public opinion.
I would like to get some feedback as to the look I'm working on. It's at www.dawninglight.net. Any ideas and criticisms are welcomed. It's my first go at using CSS. Thanks!
