new company website: http://openofficetechnology.com

We have just launched a new company website based on Drupal. Visually, its a modest effort (we are coders, not designers :-) but we have done our best. The web site is http://openofficetechnology.com

Its running Drupal CVS (v 4.7 beta 5+) with a customized Friends Electric theme. The css still needs some tweaking, but at the moment some of the missing content is our first priority.

We are happy with how easy it is to add content with Drupal, as well as the number of modules available. We're looking forward to seeing more modules updated to work with v 4.7. We also think the code is fairly clean, and therefore lends itself well to customization and extensions.

The following modules are currently enabled:

block
book
comment
commentmail
contact
download
filter
forum
front_page
gsitemap
help
logintoboggan (customized)
menu
node
notify
page
path
print
profile
project (with a few customizations)
purchase
search
statistics
story
system
taxonomy
throttle
tracker
upload
urlfilter
urllist
user
user_maintenance
watchdog

We would also like to have email notices esp. on forum conversations, and plan in the future on investigating:

listhandler (with mailhandler)
notices
notify
massmailer (with phplist)
subscriptions

At one time, we had pathauto enabled, but we were having problems with it mangling the URL aliases when content was edited. We haven't had a chance to follow up on this further.

OpenVIew360.com

Here is my little project related to OpenSource. The site was initialy on e107 but the fact that e107 doesn't have sef/seo means a lot (even if i loved the forum lol).

Check out our site

Guys,

Please take a look at http://www.jcxsoftware.com

The cool thing about this site is that I wrote a migration module to take all the content from Xoops into Drupal. One of the things this module has is a redirect feature in which old links to the Xoops site are redirected to the Drupal site.

The migration module keeps track of the Xoops ids for content, forum posts, news and bug reports (Mantis) and map them to the new ids in Drupal. This way google links and other links are not broken.

News aggregation site

I wanted to let you know that news.beiruter.com is running drupal.
The site aggregates blog posts about Lebanon.
It mainly uses aggregator2 module. to get the news and the theme is Fancy.
Comments are welcome.

High Definition Media Drupal Site

We are a nonprofit documentary film foundation, working in high definition. Please check us out at www.eisf.org. We launched our new web site, based in Drupal, last November. We believe its a great blend of tech and art and the tremendous response has brought us fabulous support, projects, and more. Yet, due to the untimely death of our prior webmaster and developer, we are now looking for assistance. If interested, please contact me. Thank you for taking the time to visit our web site.

The Agonist moved to Drupal

The Agonist is one of my favourite sites. I knew that they were going to make some changes to the site this weekend but I thought it was only about feel and look. They were using scoop and make similar changes before. When I came to job on Monday and check the new and improved Agonist first I was impressed by its new look. Then here and there I begin to notice Drupalish things.
