DrupalSites.net - 3 month!

Hi fellow Drupallers,

It is 4 month from Drupal Top Sites and 3 month from DrupalSites.net launch. There are more than 100 sites listed on Drupal Top Sites and almost 200 Drupal powered sites at DrupalSites.net. I did not make any prediction on how the project will go. It was just overnight experiment. But it is quite good the way it goes.

But there is never enough. Don't forget to add your Drupal site!

Couple (team) RPG gaming sites

My very first Drupal installation:

GameFace - Team Fortress Classic Team (halflife)
    http://gameface.zqlabs.com
    Drupal 4.6.5
    time: 7 hours*
    base theme: connections
    • standard installation
    • custom theme
    • works like a charm, ty drupal.

and the very next day...

gnostic¤transcendence - Team Fortress Classic Team (halflife)
    http://gt.zqlabs.com
    Drupal 4.6.5
    time: 1.5 hours*
    base theme: leaf
    • standard installation
    • custom theme
    • =O Ran out of PHP memory to administer the website, but the front end works and uploads do not.

PHP memory limit was the pincher in my original setup. I queried the brilliant minds at the hosting company (lol?) to increase the PHP memory_limit to 16MB, it shall be done. It was originally 8MB and shared across all (sub)domains. So you could imagine to my surprise when I installed gallery2. Nothing happened. Literally.

The next drupal project this week, will include both subdomains (above), plus two more domains making 4 sites running off of one drupal installation.
Summary: Drupal 4.6.5**, many domains, each with their own database, custom themes, and site specific modules.
What's next in design? I am currently creating CSS drop down menu's (without it looking like CSS.)

*Includes from design conception to full production.
**Drupal 4.7 resulted in too many bugs with the current hosting plan/company.

Skip The Budgie

This is my new blog, http://www.skipthebudgie.org, I have carried over the theme from my old site: http://jroller.com/page/dash and heavily modified it again to work with Drupal.

99% of the design is CSS controlled, with phptemplate.

New site based on Burnt Theme

Today I relaunched my site www.swf-info.de (within 3 hours) with a customized version of the Burnt theme from der (http://drupal.org/node/50214). In my oppinion it's a great idea of der to use designs from Open Web Designs (http://www.openwebdesign.org/).
