Project Opus 1.0 Prerelease

Hey Drupalites!

MagnetizerInstitute.com (BlueMarine with ecomm)

Drupal 4.6.5
BlueMarine-modified

I brought up a new site last night, http://www.magnetizerinstitute.com

Pretty considered a basic site, with a simple theme.

I'm still missing a few articles for some of the links.

Added a small twist on the structure for the FAQ section

Using Books to hold and keep structure

Using Terms to cross reference similar articles. ( see Testimonials – for new site usage)

(also in clean up mode here – I got carried away at first and created way to many cross links (terms) – actually looked a little scary – working towards a cleaner look)

This was actually my first database (mySQL) transfer too. So far the only thing it looks like that didn't make the transfer is Quotes. I think it might be related to an email address I deleted that posted the quotes, oops :-) (please check back here on the Quotes – I put a twist on the way I use it - came out nice – I will post here after I get Quotes back up)

Shopping Cart only has PayPal so far, haven't a secure layer yet – pending.

Have a look let me know if I can improve it, gang.

I would also like to take a moment – to THANK EVERYONE that has helped me to learn, use and understand Drupal. And a special THANK YOU to all the people that work so hard at odd hours of the day and night to make this the #1 hottest CMS on the Internet.

NEWBIES: If I can do this - you surely can too!

Ubuntu Web Servers website

The Ubuntu Web Server website is a place where Ubuntu Linux server admins, new and experienced, can get information about, and discuss running, Linux-based servers.

I started the website as a response to an obvious need in the Ubuntu Linux community: While Ubuntu is the most popular and fastest growing Linux distribution, it's primarily been promoted as a desktop operating system...the (quite capable) server side of Ubuntu has been almost completely ignored by the organization.

Marsdrive.com

I'm proud to announce Marsdrive.com to the Drupal community. This site was built using the 4.6 codebase along with a ton of extra modules. The site has actually been live for a while, but I wanted to work some bugs out before presenting it to the hardcores here at Drupal.org

In addition to the myriad features and functions the site offers, registered users have a choice of 3 different site themes they can use while browsing the site: Red Mars, Green Mars and Blue Mars (based on Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars terraforming trilogy of books). Red Mars is the default theme.

Any one running 4.7 on a large production site yet?

I'm wondering who's running 4.7 for your large production sites? What have been some of the challenges? I'm starting a new project and would love to use 4.7 but i'm wondering what people think about jumping in the deep end right now.

Openlaszlo.org moves to Drupal

OpenLaszlo has made the move to Drupal! This move coincides with their announcement that OpenLaszlo applications can soon be compiled in both Flash and DHTML. The site was totally revamped under the flag of the Druplicon in anticipation of this announcement and to allow contributors, admins and developers the added flexibility that only Drupal can offer. We're excited to have helped them do so. Check it out and let us know what you think!
