Hagwan Helper is basically a site I put together to get a firmer grip on CCK and Views. The best way to learn how to use a program is to get your hands dirty.
Background:
I've decided to try an experiment and see if I can use Ubuntu as a true Windows alternative. The idea is not only for me to be able to do anything I could do in Windows via Open Source, but document the configuration to make it simple for a lay user.
Drupal specifics:
As a casual Drupal user for the past year or so, I've developed my site to be relatively no frills for now. I plan to upgrade it to version 5 once it comes out of beta.
I am building this site for a partner and friend...I am just putting the finishing touches on the Ecommerce module as we will be selling ebooks and educational audios from this site - all in French!
I am becoming a budding developer and having a blast building my site while learning to use Drupal! It rocks! The more I learn the more great things there is to add!
Thanks to everyone involved in the Drupal project for helping me set up www.tigmoo.co.uk, a site which encourages more UK trade unionists to blog by compiling a feed from multiple union blogs and republishing it to RSS subscribers.
I'm not a coder by any stretch of the imagination, so really appreciate the effort that has gone into making this system so easy to use!
