This type of site is certainly nothing unique. You know the formula: chicks, movies, celebrities, music, etc. The domain name lent itself to several kinds of sites. I thought of maybe building a social commiseration network for NASCAR wives or the absolute largest gallery of before and after crystal meth user images on the Web. But those ideas just left me uninspired. In the end, I thought it wise to try to serve as large and as lucrative an audience as possible. Namely, US males, 18-45. Et, voila: speedfreak.com.

As for technical details, the site used the following modules: Image, Feed Parser, Contemplate, CCK, Custom Pagers, Diggthis, Embed Filter, Signature, gsitemap, Image Cache, Node Words, Panels, Pathauto, Tagadelic, Thickbox and of course Views.
