Now on Drupal - HamptonRoads.com and PilotOnline.com

Hello all,

I wanted to introduce myself, and our now-powered-by-Drupal sites, PilotOnline.com and HamptonRoads.com. I'm Jeff Anderson, and I work as the product development manager for the interactive division of The Virginian-Pilot newspaper based in Norfolk, Virginia. The Pilot is a top 50/60 U.S. daily newspaper by circulation size, and PilotOnline.com was one of the first newspaper websites to go online in the early 1990s. Along with its sister site HamptonRoads.com, a local portal focused on entertainment, community and local guides, we recently ranked No. 6 in the U.S. in terms of the percentage of users in a local market who use a particular locally-focused site. On December 10, we re-launched both sites on a customized Drupal 5.x platform.

Almost Gaming goes Drupal

Almost Gaming has adopted and went live with our Drupal version of our gaming web site. We feature a large variety of World of Warcraft guides and now, thanks to Drupal, allow users to submit and modify new guides with ease. The future promises a lot of new features thanks to the Drupal community and their large variety of modules available. We hope to enable forums, newsletters, new sections, more content, better categorized content and much more in the near future.

New. GroupHug.us: 700,000 node+ installation.

I just finished migrating GroupHug.us from a custom web app to a Drupal installation. I learned a lot about what I like about Drupal and what might want attention, and also about the benefits and pitfalls of a one-size solution in general. All said and done, I'm very happy with it, and have lots of plans to expand it using some of the killer modules I've been watching around here. Many thanks to Drupal developers.

New module: board game

Hello,

I wanted to develop a board game concept and framework and since I'm a drupal geek (hm hm) and like to develop a web interface I have given it a go.
Here is the presentation.

Admittedly the concept is somewhat simple, I did not come up with anything yet that might be really challenging. However I'm open to suggestions. :-)

Greetings,
Philippe.

Home renovation site

BrooklynRowHouse (http://www.brooklynrowhouse) is about the renovation of a circa 1906 Brooklyn, NY row house. It centers mostly on woodworking, finish carpentry and cabinetmaking.

At the time of this posting, it's running Drupal 5.5 with some basic modules.
