First of all many many many thanks to the drupal community for your support and help.
This is my very first Drupal website which I did for my wife as a christmas present. A little late I know but as the old saying goes. Better late then never.

It basically a hobby site for my wife to put her creations on the web as many of her friends asked her what she does. A bit difficult to carry all those beads! hehe...

Hello All,

After a couple hundred hours and thousands of indirect tips from the Drupal community, I'm proud to announce the launch of my first Drupal effort. I just flipped the switch on http://billdavisracing.com this morning. With the NASCAR race season beginning today I was under huge time pressure but managed to get the job done. I still have lots of tweaks and improvements to make and content to add, but...I'm more than well on my way.

Drupal showcase and case study contest: Books, Hosting, and other prizes

What will it take for Drupal to break through to be the most popular platform for websites? Drupal needs better marketing. Specifically Drupal needs more showcase sites and case studies to help evaluators understand what can be done with Drupal. We've already got a good list of case studies, success stories, featured sites, and a list of show case sites. To help rally the community, there will be a Drupal site showcase and case study contest at the upcoming Boston Drupalcon.
