Installing (struggling with) Drupal 5.x in PLESK / Windows webhosting

This site will help those who have Windows-based website with PLESK, and possibly those with Windows Server 2003, who dont know how to manage a PLESK control panel, or Windows-based web server.

Even a seasoned cPanel or DirectAdmin web owner/admin/manager might find PLESK a very confusing, unfriendly, and hard to get used to, and annoyingly slow and debilitating

So to get past the hurdle courtesy of Microsoft, PLESK, check this site out (we are just beginning)

Boasts

Boasts has been released for British writers to earn long term revenue by posting reviews of a massive range of Uk products. This was achieved using Drupal and the shopwindow module posted by Jonny Platt. Each writer can own a share of the site by writing recommendations and the initial volume of posts has been surprisingly high. My thanks go to the Drupal community for creating such a powerful cmf.

www.morrisfurniture.biz - Drupal 5 site - what do you think?

Hi

I've just finished my first 'proper' Drupal site - check out www.morrisfurniture.biz - I'm looking for any feedback please (good or bad).

The site uses Mootools for the front page to create the sliding div effect, and loads of other stuff such as SiFR- has taken 3 months to learn Drupal and build - i'm just glad it is finished!

If you have any comments good or bad i'd love to hear from you.

Cheers

Martin

[beta] Leeway's Homegrown Music Network

Hi, I'm really excited to share with you all my recent Drupal creation. While it is in the final beta stages, as we are still importing some of the content from the old website to this one (all the old news was stored in some crazed c++ cgi that wrote to I think db2 files & ALL of the content was seperate static html pages (not my doing)), so everything has to be manually brought in.

Before deciding to go with drupal, we looked at almost every cms out there, and had even started development on our own custom cms until I came across drupal one day...NONE of the other CMS' really fit the bill of what we were after.

Anyway, we hope to be launching here soon, still putting the polishing and shine on some of the final areas...

This will replace the oh so aging site here: http://www.homegrownmusic.net/

Future plans will include:
* moving our Miva based store to Ubercart (kinda waiting on Quickbooks support)
* a higher level of social networking...right now all that is enabled is some profile fields and pictures, nothing too fancy, by we'll definatly be looking into some of the nodeprofile stuff, as well as organic groups
* internal handling of newsletters & newsletter subscriptions.
* and possibly a digg like news aggregation type system for related music industry news
