Sports-Trader.Net

hey there everyone, check this new sports auction venue out, Sports-Trader.Net ... look out ebay

Wankerparty.com

I've never built a website before- so this is our first attempt at creating something.

www.wankerparty.com

It's called Wankerparty and its a masturbation celebration, hosted by the one and only Chas Diamond.

We used Drupal 5.7 and some fairly basic modules to create what we hope will become an active community website used predominantly by 25-35 UK males interested in adult humour.

Some modules we used:

CCK
Views
Image Assist
Video Filter
Captcha
Tell a Friend
Read More Tweak
Voting API
Fivestar
Image
Taxonomy DHTML

So - pretty simple and so far I would say I have fond Drupal fairly painful but farily rewarding.

Previous experience in web publishing was only with Blogger and then Wordpress. Drupal has been a good next step and I am beginning to see the possibilities.

For noobs like me - I recommend video tutorials from:

Eliot Rothman
Drupal Dude
Awakened Voices

We enjoyed their vids a lot and watching them accelerated our learning curve.

All have a friendly style and for someone like me who likes to be told stuff rather than read stuff - its a great way to get a better grip of Drupal in the first scary moments where you think "what the hell is a node?"

Anyway - let me know what you think.

Salsa Reconquista

Our new Durpal site. Basic and simple but effective.

Gracias :)

ClipOndreams.com

www.clipondreams.com

This is my first drupal site, I tried to make it as simple as possible. As soon as i integrate the Kaltura properly it will be a place where people upload a video of their representation of a dream so everyone can share, remix and edit as well as creating an world collaborative dreamscape. As well as this there's a dream diary to write in and make new dream clips from.

Banglz.com Ubercart Site

http://www.banglz.com

I will start by again thanking the Ubercart team and the Ubercart community! I can't even imagine launching a site from scratch with another system in two weeks!

That being said we tried to make the site as clean and simple to use as possible given the target customer. No bells and whistles here, pretty much a few content types, a couple views, and some products.
