I'm not the creator but just found out that this site was made by drupal .. The Jakarta Post is the only english language newspaper in Indonesia. They just launched this site about two months ago ..
Brings together some of the top independent sources for news, guides, reader Q+A, and also features a comprehensive financial services business directory.
Today we relaunched www.facinghistory.org, a website that for nine years, has lived in Lotus Notes. Some parts (ironically, the more interactive parts) still live in Lotus, include events, jobs, and our library, remain in Lotus, but with over 1000 pages in Drupal, we're moving ahead to migrate the rest of the website so that this time next year, we're running a 100% Drupalific website.
About a year ago, a few friends and I were having dinner and a beer at a brew pub on Hawthorne. One of them works for the Portland Office of Sustainable Development and told us about how she receives frequent calls about people looking for green buildings. This inspired her idea of developing a website containing a directory of green buildings. We were really excited about the idea, and the GreenRenter team was formed!
Naturally, we chose Drupal as the platform. The site is fairly simple for now, relying heavily on CCK and Views (don't most sites?). The content types are quite complex, so we turned to a tab based interface to help organize the information. For mapping, GMAP seemed too complex, so we are using a combination of Location and a small custom module to integrate the excellent Mapstraction library. I'll work on polishing this and releasing it as a module.
tee-trade.com is a site that I orginally made just to try out the Drupal CMS, but I've decided to implement it into a t-shirt trading site/forum. Instead of publishing a polished site, I thought I would put it out for beta testing now in the hopes that the site will grow more organically. That being said, I am desperately in need of beta testers. At least I think the idea is kind of cool, so I hope to get this thing off the ground.
