I initially simply wanted to add comments to my old site, which lead me down the path of WordPress, CMS's in general, and eventually to Drupal.
I waited for quite some time for Drupal 6.x to launch, and I have no idea if I'm glad I did or not. The user interface seems nice, but the knowledge base / tutorials out there for 6.x seemed to be sparse at times. Plus waiting for modules to become compatible, etc...makes me feel like an early adopter.
A site where Football-Fans (Soccer/Fussball) can prove to be real fans!
They can prove themselves with songs and pictures, fanreports, etc.
Another cool feature: organization of a decentralized football-cup between fan-nations... navigating via a google-map; or find beds or partys in switzerland/austria.
Have a look and enjoy! Maybe you find your inner fan...
What is Clean Desk Club? It is a place where you can share your desk and all the things you love or hate about it!! There is no other place on the Internet (that I am aware of) that is a community for those interested in office stuff. There are, however, numerous sites for the ever popular movie Office Space and the red Swingline stapler. I have so many ideas I want to implement, but I am currently limited by time and money. This is also why there isn’t too much information listed on the Collector’s Corner page.
What is the Advertiser’s Spotlight? The images that are presented in this section are essentially banners (image ads). When you click on the image in the Advertiser’s Spotlight, it takes you to an internal node which was already created by a company. The point of the Ad Spot is for companies to showcase their latest desk accessories. Then when a user is looking at the full node, they can click on HTML links (in the future) in the annotations on the image. For example, there is an annotation around a cool looking pen. Within the annotation would be a direct link to the company to buy that pen!
Right now, I need a few companies (or people) that sell office related merchandise to test out the Ad Spot and provide feedback. It will be FREE advertising for you!! If you are interested please contact me.
Check out www.coastalempirejobs.com. I used several modules including views, cck, contemplate... the usuals. I did have to hack the cck email module a little bit to fill info on the activity into a database. I then pull from that database so I can show the employers how who applied for their jobs using the cck contact form. Not too tough, but still some functionality that wasn't there.
Let me know what you think of the design and the site in general.
As the title says, it's an open source, community driven bot tracking site that aims to build a bigger picture of search engine bot activity.
The Bot Project is a Drupal site obviously with some custom code for the bot tracking stuff. Most of the modules used are standard as is the tempate (with a few minor mods). Charting uses Open Flash Chart (http://teethgrinder.co.uk/open-flash-chart/).
