BeerTaster.ca Because Beer is Good!

We ran a site for about a year on Scoop. Our transition is not complete yet, there is so much more we can do with Drupal, but we are live now and still improving all the time.
If you like beer come and see us at http://www.beertaster.ca

4Linux, a FLOSS company, goes Drupal

4Linux, a premiere Linux and FLOSS consultancy and training company based in Brazil, proudly announces the relaunch of our website as a Drupal site.

We needed a complete redesign in our main website, a 4 years old static website, dificulty to mantain, with usability and acessibility problems. Then we choosed Drupal as our CMS to serve as base of our new website, with new features and with a totally refreshed design.

Main goals

The 4Linux's website was a static site updated via SCP by a webmaster (me!). This was lending to a slow process of comunication with our clients since all the errors needed to be passed to me. Then, updated a XML or HTML file, upload some images and voilà.

This, of course, wasn't the best way to communicate to our clients. It was very error prone and slow. We needed a faster way to provide rich information about our services, case studies and news to our clients. We needed a descentralized way to publish and review content.

GoMom.com - Networking Site for Moms

Gorton Studios would like to announce the launch of GoMom.com as a Drupal site. GoMom is a social networking site that bills itself as "the discussion forum for women".

Simulution.com

Gorton Studios would like to announce the launch of Simlution.com as a Drupal site. Simulution provides training simulators to medical students and professionals. (Note: some of the trainers and topics may not be for the squeamish, nor, possibly, completely workplace appropriate.)
The site was originally built in OSCommerce, but as the client had big ideas for expanded content and functionality, the first step was to move the site to Drupal for a far more sustainable, extensible and robust platform.
Although Drupal's ecommerce offerings continue to be refined and perfected (Ubercart, e-Commerce), due to a variety of factors (including the existing product catalog and client's desire to maintain some continuity of administration), Zen Cart was chosen to handle ecommerce functionality.

Drupal at the Pulitzer Prizes

The official website for the Pulitzer Prizes was recently converted to Drupal 5.x by the Openflows Community Technology Lab. Content is entered via a large number of CCK content types, and almost all page views are handled via Views which amalgamate multiple types based on taxonomy terms. Particularly of note is the spiffy faceted search module which allows visitors to easily narrow their searches by taxonomy terms and content types. The project took several months, in large part because it included importing a huge amount of legacy content from a system last updated in 1995.

Looking for Drupal references / corporate websites in the field of engineering or vehicle manufacturing

Hi Guys,

we are planning a website for one of our customers. We want to employ Drupal, but the customer is not sure whether this is the right choice for him (he would prefer TYPO3, as it's more known to him). Could you please help us to convince him that Drupal is the right choice... Thus we are looking for Drupal sites that were done for engineering companies or similar. (Most of the examples/references/case studies shown here are from other business sectors)

Thanks a lot
Vin
