Drupal's access control list will get tooooo long when too many modules installed, if i want to set access for items in the end of the list, i have to go back to the top the page to see which role I want to set, it is so inconvenient.
Is any possible to list items in seperate pages or repeat the the role information every ten items?
I was wondering: isn't the authentication service pretty dangerous? It's asking for login-information from another site.
It's easy to rewrite drupal.module so it will store login-information. When people log in with their drupal.org account on a website which does this, the login-information is known by the website's owner. When for example Dries logs in on such a website you've got a problem.
Because the module and theme tarball sets do not contain modules or themes in the directory structure and because every file drupal distributes comes from the same ftp directory; I would like to propose that the theme file names contain ``theme'', the module files contain ``module'' and the locale file contains ``locale''. Currently one must look at the tarball listing to determine theme, locale or module. This can lead to confusion and headache.
However, I would like a discussion on this and to hear your feedback. Does this make sense and if so, are you all with or against this change?
I work with software usability and interaction, so I have great experience in this field. However, I am not a developer so I am not able to contribute the patch required for this change.
If anybody can, please be my guest and modify the bug report :)
