admin donot have access to some nodes...

As we all know that the first user(admin) created in the drupal has the access to all the content but on clicking some nodes of same type i am getting message that 'You are not authorized to access this page.'

It is bit strange that even admin donot have access to some of the nodes.

Can you please help me out in finding the reason behind this?

Thanks,
Sumeet Anand

Module Skeleton

Hey guys,

First off, thanks for 5.0 betas 1 and 2, I have been using 4.x for a while now and 5 is amazing! Drupal just keeps getting better and better. I am currently evaluating Joomla! and Drupal 5 for a new site for a friend and I will have to incorporate a custom module into the site, no matter what. Is there a skeleton of a Drupal 5 beta 2 module available that I can do some test development with? I didn't see one in the drupal 5 beta 2 source I downloaded but maybe I looked in the wrong place. Thanks!

Joe

Is there a way to pass variables defined in template.php to a module?

Wondering if I can pass variables to a module via template.php.

Not sure if there is a better way to do this. I need to pass some additional info to a module. I don't want to hard code this info inside the module.

I was wondering if there is a way to pass information to the module from say template.php?

Thanks for any light you can throw on this.

How to identify a forum topic?

How can I identify from within a block that the current page being displayed is a forum topic (user is viewing a thread in a forum)?

Tried $node->type but that returns a blank.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Restricting access to individual comments

Any thoughts on the best way to:

Have selected individual comments 'hidden' from ordinary users by default. With a method of allowing them to see them.

In this case it is for Indymedia Drupal sites, which need a 'hidden' in addition to 'unpublish' option for moderated comments - part of the open publishing ethos, being able to see what has been moderated. But I could see similar for threshold /. type uses (ala drupal of past).
