Deprecated - Drupal core

I am using the form api to create a form for a custom module. It seems the default layout is like this:

Field Label:
[ combox ]

I want to create a label with 2 fields (combo boxes) next to each other underneath it.
like this:

Field Label:
[ComboBox1] [comboBox2]

Is this possible using the forms api, or do i need to create the html table from scratch?

I'm a new programmer to drupal, I want to create two colum node, I've downloaded view module and taxonomy brower. I need your help to put me through it, I've created all the menus. I will be glad if i can get help from anyone in this forum.

Suggestion for Drupal 5 (if there's time)

One of the most annoying Drupal issues is the memory overhead that normally happens at Admin > Module (see: http://drupal.org/node/31819).

A simple solution would separate this page in many. Make it paged. (you know, those << < 1 2 3 4 5 6 > >> in the bottom of the page).

So, just 20 modules would be loaded at once and the memory overhead wouldn't this annoying.

What do you think?

I know, i am x-posting this.. but didnt think under "issues" anyone other than developers would see it.

Anyway... i just made up what i think is a better menu module - basically changed the "menu edit" feature to allow bulk edit of menu items (re-order and titles mostly at this point)
