Article module -How to show content?

I've setup the Article module but I don't know how to add content to the articles section. All that it shows is the xml button. I've looked around the Drupal site but I can't find any "how-to's" for it.

Upgrading Drupal by copying over

Is it possible to upgrade drupal by copying the new code, over the old installation and by replacing the basic configuration options such as database.inc etc.

This assumes that the database schema hasn't changed.

I upgraded 4.2.0 version to 4.3.0 but in trying to apply a patch it appears the blog.module is different. I want to know if I can the upgrade over the old one, and keep working as usual.

Drupal Page Sizing

I know how to make pages load at 100% depending on the size of the page meaning that it will compress the page as to eliminate scrollbars. I was wondering how to make drupal do the same thing.....my site has a slight scroll bar width wise that i would like to get rid of. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also the content of the event that i post I cant seem to change the size of it. If someone can help me with that as well i would appreciate it

Test site vs. Production site

Up until now my site has always been based on static files, CGIs, and SSI work. One advantage of this is that I can run the whole site on a test server, so that anytime I change anything, I can verify it all works before uploading to the production server.

Account Problems

I have everything set up for my site, and I made a tester account to see if everything was working properly, but when I log in under the tester account, it still shows the Access Denied page. I'm wondering if I did something wrong during the installation...

How do I display all stories?

In drupol 4.3.2 all stories are displayed by www.mygreatsite.com/?q=story , but in my new site using Drupol 4.4.0 the stores are not displayed, I get "Page Not Found". How do I display all stories in 4.4.0?
