Error after Flexinode installation

Hello.
After installing the flexinode module I get these errors when going to the modules menu in configuration.
Anyone has ideas about what the problem can be? The rights are set to 755.
I have installed as informed in the install-file, with the .inc files in the modules folder.

Navigation

Hi,
I am busy testing Drupal as a contender for our new website. When trying to set up some sort of menu on the left hand side, I unticked the navigation tick box in admin - configuration - block
Now I can not get back to this area to retick it. Help.

Altering Date Formats

This one's driving me nuts. I want to drop the the time from the end of the dates on my front-page posts, but can't seem to get the necessary functions to play ball. I looked in the forum archives and found some code to produce a custom date format, but it only produces the same time and datestamp over and over again - back in 1970. Is there something really obvious I'm missing?
