Post installation

I set up Drupal 4.2 on Mac OS X.3 and everything seems to be running fine. However, when people sign up for an account, request a password, or whatever else that sends an email to the main email, I get what is below. Any ideas on what setting I have messed up and how to fix it.

After installing Drupal 4.5 I createda new user, "admin". I then logged in and went to edit the default password for the "admin" account. Upon submitting my amended user account details I was greeted with the PHP error:

I have just uploaded my drupal installation v. 4.4.2 website to a server and occassionally when administering (e.g. updating taxonomy, blocks etc) or submitting data, I receive the following message, which usually disappears with a page refresh:

user error: Access denied for user: 'eternalp@%' to database 'eternalp'
query: LOCK TABLES sequences WRITE in /home/sites/eternalpurpose.org.uk/public_html/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 97.

Should I be concerned? take appropriate action?

Under administration, I removed all of the check boxes for the Anonymous user so that only people who are logged in can see content. However, if you are not logged in and view the main page, it says "Page Not Found" above the mission statement. This isn't a big deal but I'm just wondering if there is something I can do to remove this message (like create the page it cannot find).

Stupid enough, 'General', 'Support' and 'Test' keep appearing as normal forums (with author/read counters and all). I am doing something wrong obviously, but I can't figure it out. Have searched for the answer, but alas...
