Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

How do I insert GoogleAds and Blogads

I really need help in inserting GoogleAds and Blogads in my pages.

As y'all know, they're both JAVASCRIPT based. For the Blogads (since they are columnar) I created a block and cut and pasted the javascript. This did not work at all --Drupal just spewed the code back on the page.

Am assuming the same will happen with my horizontal GoogleAds. You can see them at http://www.culturekitchen.com (Yeah, go ahead and visit our sponsors as your form of contribution :)

Recipe Module Errors ?

I installed the latest 4.5.0 version of the recipe module a couple of weeks ago. Everything was fine but I am getting the same errors discussed in this thread:
http://drupal.org/node/13141

Everything seems to be working, should I be worried about the error log ? I noticed the thread above has 'status:fixed'

What was the fix ?

Thanks

collaborative books and writing - again (sorry)

Hope this isn't really bad form, and if it is my apologies to all for reposting my question (sortta), but i still don't quite know what i'm missing. It's m'hour of need.

Is the collaborative book option still working? Can you edit posts, or only comment on them? The instruction manual points to a specific option called collaborative books or book, and i don't see the option on the version (4.4.2) i've got loaded up on my website.

Any help - even a yep or nay on whether or not collaborative writing (akin to wiki) is possible here would

Please

fscache not writing files

I just upgraded my system to drupal 4.5.1. I've installed filestore2 and fscache for the first time.

Initially, when I attempted to upload a file using filestore2/fscache, I was getting messages about the /misc/fscache directory missing (nice instructions there!).

I created that directory. Now, when I preview or submit a file, the system shows it is uploaded within Drupal, publishes it to the front page, etc. It will even show the file size (my example file is a 1.5 MB Word file).

Removing Create Content Item in Menu

I hope this turns out to have a simple fix. I don't have any content submission available for anonymous and another user role but they still see the "Create Content" link in the menu. How can I remove this since the link leads to a blank page and has no links under it? I like to stay as far away from clutter as possible so nixing this link for users who don't need it will be great if it's possible :)

I'm using 4.5 and am using the pushbutton theme.

Thanks,
Nick
