Post installation

I'm new to Drupal, needing to migrate from Mambo. I've successfully installed TinyMCE, but am unsuccessful configuring it for Full features.

According to the Install documentation one needs to "edit the pages to include the configuration and javascript for TinyMCE." But since I am seeing the "simple" and "advanced" features, I think I'm okay there.

I've tried the amazon tool module and I keep getting an error so I've submitted a report on that. I've tried amazon item and it doesn't like the isbn I give it which is a valid one but is under games on the amazon.ca site. Since using either module doesn't work I decided via menu on the fly to make a new menu under navigation for amazon affiliate things I'm listing(seperated into music, dvd, books, games, and software). That's fine. So I tried creating a "story" and told it to put it under the menu item games. That was fine too.

One of the last things (i think) that i need to get my site out of beta testing is to change the width of the comment entry box. It currently overlaps with my side-bar:

I am sure this has been discussed before but I can't find any forum items. On two my sites, the navigation menu (primary & secondary links, which I added myself) no longer update when I change them through the global theme config page.

Would you kindly give me some advice or point me to a previous discussion?

I searched but did not see any postings on this issue. I hope I got the right forum.

I noticed when viewing the source of a web page that comments are generated with an empty anchor tag, like so:

</div>
<a id="comment-5"></a>
<div class="comment ">
...

This can also be seen by viewing the source of the Drupal pages with comments, such as these forums.
