Post installation

There's a nice little mod for quotes and I've always had a fancy for this type of thing - anything to put a smile on a customers face. But it's in a block format, and I want it to appear across the top of the main page only. Not on any other page, and it must be below the header, and frankly, I would much prefer it without the title either, but I can work on that one.

Has anyone had any experience doing this sort of thing? ie, spreading a block across a whole page, either as a page in it's entirity, or between the left and right sidebars (I'm not too fussed).

How can I add an attachment or upload field to the custom profiles?

I'm guessing this is to do with books and pages, but if you have a look at the following page: http://drupal.org/handbooks there are 'groups' or 'containers' of categories. For ease, I'll pick the third category down (Configuring and customisation). In this section there are topics such as Introduction, Configuration, End user guide, et al; and when you click on introduction you get a nice block menu on the left and it is categorised with the items from the previous page and forward and next buttons.

It's all very nice and a very powerful presentation. But I cant find a way to duplicate something similar on my site.

I am guessing it has to do with books?

Is there a way to include a spacer in a block? My navigation block is getting a little long, and I would just like to break it with a line going across it. I dont want to start a new block as it all relates to the one thing. Is this possible?

On a side note, can you include a block within a block?

In fact that is a nice easy way of saying it. I have two pages that I like, but I want one to contain the other.

One page, the main one is on node/13 and under what I have put on that page I want to place the contents of another page (aggregator/sources or /categories - I haven't figured out which one yet. I have played around with using php code to try and include the node/source I am after, but I am not haveing any success. Can anyone help me out here?

Is there any way to make attachments in comments?
