Everytime I submit a book page, that load sky rockets, to extremely high loads up to 50.
This takes about 5 minutes to be processed, and after this time period, the load slowly climbs down.
How can I solve this major problem.

I am trying to get the Drupal CMS off my site because I've decided to go in a different direction with it. I deleted all the files associated with it as well as the MySQL database, but the site's not working properly now, it's giving me a 403 forbidden error and a 404 not found in terms of index.html and there is one uploaded. Am I missing something on the uninstall? I'm not too adept with back-end stuff, my ex put this on and there's no way I'm asking him to take this off :)
I have only one node promoted to the front page. It has some content, and then a bit of php to spit out the 3 most recent blog posts. For some reason at the bottom of the page I get:
Showing 1 - 10 of 11. Next › Last »
If I click on "next" I get the configuration module (Even though I have it disabled) "Welcome to your new CivicSpace-powered website. This message will guide you through your first steps with CivicSpace..."
I have been searching (even using google) to try and find a document that will allow me to download detailing all the functions of drupal. I've seen the developer area where you can look up any function, but isn't there one document somewhere I can download?
After having done a bit of work with Drupal and becoming a fan of it, i was looking at some blogging applications for last one month. I have installed and tried Nucleus, BlogCMS, Wordpress, pLog, serendipity, and couple more(all open source), but some how could not convince myself to use any of them for one problem or the other.
With my little experience i can do a good job at Drupal, but this one seems to be a little difficult and thats why i am seeking support from all you good people.
I'm currently in the process of designing/implementing a CMS-based site, and have *almost* settled on Drupal as my CMS. The "almost" comes from the fact that I'm having a lot of trouble getting my head wrapped around the template customization process.
