Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Page breaking in IE for book parent pages

I actually have a couple of questions and feel it is better to put them in a single thread to avoid hogging the forum!

1. Using friendselectric theme using just 2 columns and have set it to fixed width 780px (although this is actually irrelevant for this situation and it breaks anyway) and the right edge of the main column is being pushed over by around 20-30px ONLY on book pages that are parent and have child pages. All other pages are fine. And this is only in IE not FF. Now i suspect it must be to do with the list of child items menu that is displayed at the bottom of these pages. Any ideas on why this is breaking?

2. Secondly, i have tried implementing the adsense tag to put adsense actually in my content items, however, i have not managed to succeed. There was mention of enabling adsense filter...what is this? Do i need to make the page a php page for it to work?

3.I have tried to get an rss feed displayed on my site, but failed so far! I have enabled the aggregator module, and the block for it to show (flexiblock), but as yet nothing. What am i missing? I set the .xml feed url as a source...

4. With friendelectric, i have been trying to alter the size of the left column, but there seem to be quite a few places where it mentions the 201px and -201px. Which parts to i need to edit (apart from the images of course :) to get this smaller?

Sorry for all the questions...it's just i have SO many and i do try and find answers by searching first! Anyway this should be my lot for a while, as these have built up over the past week! I appreciate any help. :) TIA

Seeking module advice for a professional services directory

I am having a mental block trying to pick a path to follow, I am hoping to solicite some advice here.

I need to create a module that allows a user to create a listing following a standard template. That listing is readable by anonymous users and editable by the owner. I see two distinct paths to arriving at that goal and a hybrid solution would be ideal. Unfortunately, there are many complications and I am attempting to not reinvent the wheel.

Starting to get somewhere with SpreadFirefox

Hi,

The SpreadFirefox theme and phpTemplate have been installed on the recommendation of someone from this forum in answer to a problem I was having creating link tabs at the top of the webpages and, sub-links on the left.

This is now done however, I have a few questions/problems:

1) What are Secondary links and where should they appear on a page?

Blogproblem

I need some help with the blogpart.

Situation: I use pictures in my blog. And I sometimes align them left or right since they are small and I want to be able to write around them. And this works fine in the blog i have used until now.

However. When I do so in my Drupalblog and go to the blogpage (the page where all posts are collected) these pictures create a problem. If I have aligned a picture and haven't written so much text that it covers the whole picture the blogpost after this one will appear right or left of the picture which belongs to another blogpost.

How do I create a static link to the latest node in a catagory?

I'd like to have a link in my menu that always goes to the latest post in a given catagory. For example, I want a link named "Latest MonkeyPost" go directly to the most recent node tagged with the 'monkey' taxonomy term. Is there an easy way to do this? I am using 4.6 with a slew of modules, including article and taxonomy_block.
