Well, it seems the question is fairly self-explanatory.

I like using the customizable menu blocks to create sites that are intuitively navigable by new and old users. What I'd like to do now is limit which menu blocks get displayed based on role. So that way moderators can see a menu block after they log in that shows them links to all of the common tasks a moderator might need to do. This way someone already involved in a group but without much web experience can "get it" right away.

I'd like to give registered users access to some folders (of my old before-drupal website) which are secured by 'htaccess'.
Is there a way to not force users to login twice ?
I mean, if usernames and passwords in Drupal are the same as defined in htaccess-groups, is there a way to give them to the login window, that appears when the user calls content from a secured folder ?

Just after installation I set the site in offline mode and was donig some admin work. Then I logged out of admin login and now I can't login back. I get site offline message.

How do I login or bring site online now??

I have uploaded a lot of pics to my site via FTP and I want to import certain folders into certain albums (which have already been created.) Now there is an option on the mass import tab where I think I should be able to do this, but i have to give the full path to be able to do it.

Now my files have been uploaded here (via an ftp account)

I'm looking at what would be involved in creating a website for a car dealership. Nothing too fancy but I've been completely overwhelmed by the modules, content and numerous routes I could take that I can't really see the wood for the trees. The requirements are:
