Post installation

I am new to Drupal and I am trying to build a website for our church community. I want to have a main front page of course, but it has occured to me that for some sections of the site that it seems like it would be best handled with other sub front pages. For example, for the different ministries (Women's, Mens's, Youth, etc) there wants to be specific information regarding the individual ministries (upconing events, page teasers, articles, etc). For each of these sub front pages, I would like to be able display the pertainent information for each ministry on it's own "front page".

Hi, I'm using Drupal 4.6.4 and have it configured for multisites. I want to be able to have an individual /images under each site, i..e http://site1.example.com/images http://site2.example.net/images would each have a different images/ subdir where I can keep the images for each site separately.

I can only reference the images using relative pathnames from sites/*, so using

Shoutbox looks like a real nice module. From my understanding, it just one shoutbox per site. I think it would be cool to have a separate shoutbox on each user's blog page, and the comments can be individually monitored by the blog authors themselves.

Is this possible?

I came across a patch to image.module that adds photo gallery support for the users of the site (similar to how all users have their own blog): http://drupal.org/node/43334

I really like this simple implementation.

I expected there to be a "book" module on the downloads/modules page for Drupal. I'm new to Drupal and reading the documentation this module seemed to be a useful tool for maintaining FAQs, etc. But although I can find references in the doc, such as http://drupal.org/handbook/modules/book, I didn't see it on the http://drupal.org/project/Modules page. Where can I get it?

anyone got the latest video.module patch back to 4.65 that has thumbnail function?
