Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Insert image in blog as thumbnails

I was looking through all the image modules and was overwhelmed by how many there are. I am looking for something that will allow users to upload images to their blog post that will show thumbnails in place of the images. I am sure there are a few that would do this but if someone could point me in the right direction.

I would also like for when they post a new blog entry that it doesnt show the images on the front page. Just the teaser. But this may have to be accomplished with something.
Thanks

Inserting Paypal Button - where?

Hello everybody,

I have a problem that will probably be simple for one of you to solve. I have a website where I need members to pay to sign up, hopefully before (or at the same time that) they create their account. I think I need to insert a Paypal button. I don't think I need the module - just a button that Paypal provides.

My problem is this:

User manager?

I wonder if there is a user manager module out there somewhere? I runa community site and want to have certain users run certain portions of the site. I don't see that ability with the standard install. I only see Anonymous and Authenticated users. Is there a module I can get that will allow me to specify which users can adminsiter certain modules or moderate certain forums?

links to helpful drupal answers

I keep coming across links that I think are useful, e.g. Dries list of top downloads from this site, and Kieran's post of the most downloaded modules. I'll post them on this thread.

How do I make top level dhtml menu names have a link?

I have used the great tutorial from Jakeg - integrating dhtml menu's into a php template theme - see http://drupal.org/node/31307 - Thanks!!!!

Next thing I am looking to do is have the toplevel menu name have a link for that subsection.
