Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

help with a simple thing about upload image in blog post

I have tred almost all images images modules. I would like my member to post image in their blog contribution. Lots of them doesn't know about computer things and I need something very simple and easy. Image assist is too complicated (and has stopped working suddunly).

So if someone has a mod or a simple trick to enable each user to upload his image in a blog post, very simply (like in the album module) i would be very happy

thanks

serious problem with images module?

I'm getting this message for every thumbnail on every page on my site (www.mudlark.com.au), this basically disables the use of the front page. all images are being displayed as full images instead of thumbnails.

this error message is appearing on every page with an image.
warning: is_file(): Stat failed for files/images/100_0831.jpg (errno=13 - Permission denied) in /home/mudla107/public_html/mudcms/includes/image.inc on line 83.

Where is the 'page' rendered?

I am using a phpengine template so I think this will be pretty easy.

I want to insert a bit of javascript beneath each page, right under the content. What file would I edit in order to do this? Also, is there a php variable in this file that contains the name of the article on this page?

As a side note, is there a way to exclude this code from showing on my homepage?

Thanks guys!

FCKeditor and front page nodes

I've gotten the FCKeditor up and running properly. I am finding that when I add text styling/coloring/size adjustments the node (when appearing on the front page) screws up the nodes below it. The nodes below the one with the styling seem to inherit the formatting style of the last character in the styled node.

Is there a way to disable styling or basically changing the appearance of text within a node appearing on the homepage?

Problem with Inline.Module (4.7 and also using TinyMCE)

Can't really tell exactly what the problem is. However if you look at the site I'm starting to develop and look at the first node (Black Knights March Citrus Parade) you can see the issue.

http://www.stamfordhighband.net/dev/

The text [inline:4=Black Knight March On!] actually shows up on the screen instead of the picture. But if you click the article title then the picture shows up.

I've also noticed if I put in multiple inline images (using the Upload.Module functionality), no matter how many different way's I've tried I can't get mor than 2 images to display in the node. Also, if I do a view source from the browser I see a lot of bad HTML for the inline tags after the first 1 or 2 (for example partial tags or just printing the inline tag itself in the page source).

I am using the TinyMCE module (latest update for 4.7 etc.). I don't think that is the problem as even when I disable it and save the node same issue.

I am using the Upload.Module built in to 4.7, and the inline.module downloaded from the inline module page.

I'm a noob. Hoping to use Drupal. Had some success configuring the site, but I'm definitely struggling with this image issue. My goal is to make it fairly simple for selected users of the site post news stories with a single image appearing in the teaser, and possible 3 or 4 more images appearing in the article. Any advice on the best way to do this and make it simple for users. The inline tag doesn't bother me, but it needs to work and come up with something that will look reasonable on the screen.

Linking to multiple page nodes

Hi,

I want to be able to have users create pages (and attach documents) but I'd then like for all these pages to be listed in one place. (I know that ALL posts can be found under Recent Posts, but I want to keep Pages separate from Forum Posts).

Currently I've created a Menu titled "letters" and it's got a menu item called "add documents." This works okay and users can create a page, attach a document and submit it.
