Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Lonely node left behind

I recently deleted an aggregator2 feed and all the nodes associated with that feed were deleted as well..One of the node items was on the front page and after deletion, there is somewhat of a blank node just sitting on the front page.

I realize that once more content is added, this node will be pushed down, and eventually off the front page. But for the time being, is there anyway to delete this node? It's basically just showing n/a in the content field where the teaser usually is.

The node does not appear within Admin/Content so i cant just delete/demote it.

Fatal error: MySQL server has gone away

I have multisites running on my drupal install. Everything seems fine except I keep getting this message and the only way to fix it is to restart my MySQL process. Any ideas?

user error: MySQL server has gone away
query: SELECT data, created, headers FROM cache WHERE cid = 'menu:0:en' in /www/drupal/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 66.

access problem

I have created a menu block that displays modules only accessible for authenticated users. If the path is straight (module1), there's no problem. Drupal automatically gets that anonymous users can't access the modules linked in the block and doesn't show it. That's fine. Now, if I expand on the path (module1/subkey/1), drupal doesn't get it anymore. It displays the box hiding correctly the simple paths but falsely displaying the expanded path. But that's not all. Via subkey/1 the module is accessible for everyone although I blocked it in the admin/restriction section.

Account Rules

The Account Rules state that they apply to new accounts. However, when I set them up, they block logins of existing accounts? Is this a bug?

I had wanted to prevent people from creating accounts that didn't use a specific access module, so I was restricting it to %@tapestries. But that blocks my maintenance account too. :/

Anyone got an idea for a fix, or another way to acomplish this?

Uploading file incorrectly triggering taxonomy access control

Hi,
Im using 4.7 Beta 5 with taxonomy access installed. I have a term that is restricted to a role via taxonomy access and this works perfectly, until I upload a file with the page (using the core upload module). Once the file is uploaded the parent node becomes 'invisible' to the logged on user.
If I go back to category roles and update them (without actually changing anything) the node becomes visible. When I make changes to the node (such as setting the file to list view) the same thing happens and I have to return to category roles to reset again.

No option to add node in flexinode AND event error

I installed Flexinode module today but am unable to add new node type. No add option on the configure page.

Steve.

P.S. I did screw up adding the event module at the same time . I forgot to add the full Event directory under modules and got a slew of errors saying "(modules/event_timezones.inc): failed to open stream: " and similar type mesages . I tried to uninstall event module, change name ,etc . Finally resorted to installing all of the event routines in Modules directory. No more errors .BUT!!!!!
