Post installation

I have had this for some time now as i was developing a new site... but getting close to release so need to get it sorted out.

was using a post-beta 4.7 cvs build at the time (but have now upgraded to 4.7beta5 and no help).

i have 2 test links which show in my secondary links (doubt this is a clue; but thought i'd mention it)

- admin/block/configure/block/3

- node/43/edit

both of these are accessible as anonymous

other blocks and nodes are not accessible - which makes sense since only access setting for anon is "access content"

i'm trying to get the following feed to play nice with aggregator2 ( http://www.itofisher.com/mito/feeds/netpublics.xml ). It validates, its from wordpress and when i hit refresh items, the blog description is pulled in but the blog entry is not.

any thoughts?

for what it's worth, a drupal generated feed ( http://varnelis.net/blog/feed ) works just fine.

I was contemplating getting rid of my Archive block on my web site today.. The problem I see is that when you click on the archive link in the menu system, the drop down boxes only go from 2000-2005. What happened to 2006? The Calendar shows activity. Is it possible to cron or update the drop down list? Or should it have happened automatically?

Hi, i'm new to drupal and i would like to know how to only show topics from one forum on my home page, not every new content that gets added like polls and page, just forums topics from a certain forum on my index page,

1 I've got the news aggregator on and it has the irritating feature of posting a preformatted gray square when there is new content. any one know how i can tell it not to announce itself.

2 also wondering if anyone can point me to some attracitve php snippets for presenting aggregated content in blocks

3 I also want to use the same taxonomy categories as i have for other content and not set up a whole new set of aggregator content tags is that possible?

Usually I use that on my websites to automatically use the www. for SEO purpses, but when I add it to my drupal site, the log in feature does not work along with a lot of other things. Is there a way around this?
