Can't edit aggregator2 feed - modified by another user

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. Suggestions welcome :-) I'm getting the following error when trying to edit an existing feed:

This content has been modified by another user, unable to save changes.

At first I thought that it appeared because admin had created the feed in the first place. But admin also gets the error. Any ideas?

Problem with g2_filter module

Hello,

I am trying to use the g2_filter module to display images from gallery in all nodes. I have it displaying the image when you are looking at the node event but I am having problems getting the image to display on the main page that displays the part of the article. It just displays the [G2:41 n=1] text. Can anyone help?

User uids being skipped during account creation

I've got members registering with my site with only one problem: occasionally, uids are being skipped. No user is created in the users table, but the sequences table uid field is being incremented. When the new account is created, there's a noticeable gap of 1, 2, 3, or more unused uids.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

Drupal site was working fine, now loads a blank page. Apache error log file displays "Failed to open stream error"

Drupal has been giving me some problems for the past few days and I have not been able to find a solution.
It started with this http://drupal.org/node/53222
I had my settings.php in sites/www.example.com/settings.php

get a "Page not found" error when I try to change settings

I get a "Page not found" error when I try to change settings.

I can go to /admin/settings with no problem,
but when I click the "Save configuration" button, I get the error message.

Any idea why... and how to solve it?

Two critical issues: cron not working and email not working

I am definitely new at this stuff, but I've been able to futz my way around Drupal so far without too many issues. But now I have two continuing problems that are starting to become critical because my website usage is suddenly growing quickly and these issues are making life difficult for me and my users.

http://www.ubuntuwebservers.com

1. cron is not working anymore. For a week or two after installing Drupal cron appeared to work fine and updated my search results so people could do searches on my site. Now it has just stopped working. With all the new content on my site since it was last successfully run, people are having a helluva time finding stuff, and that's not good. I posted details about my setup in a previous posting, but got no results:

http://drupal.org/node/52784

(is there something else I can do to index my site if I can't get cron to work?)

2. I cannot for the life of me get email working. There's something fundamental that I'm missing, I'm sure of it. I currently have the website installed on my own Linux server in my home office using a cable internet connection. Other sites on the server (I'm running virtual hosting) seem to work fine with email, but not Drupal. There was about 1 day when I accidentally got it working, but then it just stopped again. It's really frustrating me. What can I do to make my Drupal installation use my normal email service (like vincedee@comcast.net) instead of whatever it's trying to do right now (which I suspect is trying to use the email server on my web server machine)?
