Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

When activating the bluemarine theme I get a warning

warning: mkdir(/home/community/files): No such file or directory in /home/spsh/public_html/drupal/includes/file.inc on line 86

An old directory that is no longer used is being passed to the file.inc file...
where does it get its information from?

Any help is most appreciated, thanks!

Flexinode - table view

I have flexinode working for several types. I know I can get a table view for a type with a URL like

http://site/flexinode/table/3

MySQL collation - encoding

After reading http://drupal.org/node/8408 and looking in the database directly - I was wondering about mysql collations.

The data on screen appears just fine.
Search works fine.
The data in the database is definitly in utf8.

But - the tables in the database are set to "latin1_swedish_ci" (hence reading them directly shows the utf8 chars as two odd latin1 chars).

Apart from direct viewing/changing of the database (phpmyadmin or similar) - is there any plus or minus about having this difference?

Hi folks!

We'll I looked around & searched for a solution. Over at my site as an example http://whateverdomain.com/syndication page there is an option for my domain to have a OPML list downloaded to whoever. I don't want this function available to the public. When I'm at bottom of the page is says this:

Syndicate: Directory
In addition to displaying RSS feeds, whateverdomain.com.com offers this OPML file which lists all RSS feeds that are collected here.

"Object not found" error after enabling clean URL's on XAMPP 4.7 install running PHP 5 - need some help

I have (had) a 4.7 beta 5 test site up and running with XAMPP on an XP box. All was going well until I enabled Clean URL's and then I started getting Object not found errors. I then read http://drupal.org/node/43545 and followed the instructions on that page by moving the the mod_rewrite line in httpd.conf as instructed. I also uncommented the Rewrite base in .htaccess and edited it to read /drupal475 which is the name of folder where I installed drupal. The drupal475 folder is in xampp/htdocs.
